The ministry of TASTE needs supporters – probably just like you!
What does a TASTE supporter look like? Do we have a profile of the average supporter? Actually, no. But, to let you see how easily you could fit in – here are some real-life examples of how our supporters do the job of supporting TASTE (these are true examples, only the names have been changed to save their blushes).
Brian jumped out of a plane – it was a one-off sponsored event to help TASTE.
Cynthia runs a coffee and puddings morning every year and invites all her friends.
Richard has a TASTE bottle by his bed and drops anything smaller than a 20p in each evening. He routinely sends a cheque for £10 to TASTE.
Jane and her family have entered the Fun Run every year since it began – they are a really busy family but this is one event that they absolutely refuse to miss.
Nigel was away for the weekend when we held the fun run so he, and his dad, ran across the countryside where they were staying, just to raise sponsorship for TASTE.
Ann is an elderly unmarried missionary who served in Nigeria for many years. She sends a postcard from time to time just to encourage us in the work.
Grace told her children’s school about us and they adopted us as their Harvest charity and collected thousands of pennies!
Graham approached the Charities Committee at work and they sent us a cheque.
